About Helton Home Services

Bloomington is built on limestone and hills, and in April the redbuds and dogwoods light up the slopes around town before most lawns have fully woken. Helton Home Services tends yards across Bloomington, mowing lawns that climb and fall with the terrain, trimming along stone walls and edging walks that see plenty of foot traffic. Between the university, the B-Line Trail and the quiet residential streets, this is a town that lives outdoors, and a kept yard is part of how a house greets its street. Wet springs and humid summers make the grass grow hard here, so regular cuts keep it from getting ahead. The finish is simple and satisfying: stripes running true down a hillside lawn, stone steps swept clean, and the whole place ready for an evening on the porch.
