About Vito’s Lawncare LLC

Adams County farmland opens up fast at the edge of Berne, flat ground running out toward grain elevators and a scatter of machine sheds. Vito's Lawncare LLC clears the driveways and lanes out there, where wind has nothing to slow it down before it piles snow low and long across open ground instead of deep and drifted like it does in town. A plow blade has to work the full length of a farm lane, not just the mouth of it, to get a truck through by morning. Walks get shoveled by hand where a truck can't turn, and salt goes down on the steps before boots do. Watching a lane go from drifted shut to open before the owner's even started the coffee is its own kind of reward out here.
