Morrison's Lawncare

About Morrison's Lawncare

Beech Grove keeps a park named for Sarah T. Bolton, Indiana's pioneer poet, and there is something fitting about cutting grass in a town that set aside ground for verse. Morrison's Lawncare tends the lawns around that green space and the streets beyond it — mowing, trimming, hauling away what the seasons drop. On a June morning the park's big trees throw long shade and the scent of mown grass drifts across the ballfields. The work is plain and it is exacting: even lines, clean edges, nothing left ragged. A well-kept yard is its own small stanza, and Beech Grove reads them all summer long.
