Nicky T's Lawncare

About Nicky T's Lawncare

By late afternoon on a summer Saturday, the neighborhoods south of Center Grove smell like cut grass, and some of that is Nicky T's Lawncare finishing its route. This is a corner of Indiana where subdivisions end abruptly in corn — you can mow a backyard fence line with tassels on the other side of it — and Nicky T's works both sides of that seam, keeping home lawns tight and tidy where the town meets the fields. The routine is simple and kept: mow, trim, edge, blow off the drive, move on. In spring the mowers chase growth that can leap in a week; in October the job turns to leaves and the last low cuts before frost. When the fireflies come up out of the yards at dusk, the day's work is easy to read — clean lines, block after block, from Bargersville out to the towns nearby.
