About DeVaney Landscaping

Out at Washington Township Park, the old triple-arch bridge throws its long shadows over the ravine, and the late-afternoon light comes through the trees in bands. DeVaney Landscaping reads Avon yards the way that light reads the park — shade here, full sun there, a slope that wants a different cut than the flat. Lawn work is the core of it: mowing matched to how each section of grass actually grows, edges carved where lawn meets bed and drive, trimming that follows the shape of the property instead of fighting it. Cleanups bookend the season, clearing winter's litter in April and the oaks' slow leaf-drop in November. A yard in Hendricks County has more character than people give it credit for. The job is to find it and keep it visible, one week's cut at a time.
