Secrist Lawn Care

About Secrist Lawn Care

First light on the flats around Auburn comes with fog — thin sheets of it lying in the low fields, the grain bins floating above it like ships — and Secrist Lawn Care is often rolling before it burns off. There is a particular quiet to early lawn work in a small town: the mower the only sound for blocks, the dew still heavy enough to show every stripe. By the time Auburn is properly awake, whole streets have been cut, trimmed, and blown clean, the day's heat still an hour away. That early rhythm is a choice, made because grass cuts cleaner cool and because a finished yard at eight in the morning feels like a gift to the day. The work is steady, seasonal, and done before most people knew it was happening.
