About Presutti's Lawn Care LLC

Late September is Auburn's grand finale — fair week out at the DeKalb County fairgrounds, the maples turning all at once, evenings that smell like caramel corn and fallen leaves. Presutti's Lawn Care LLC works straight through it, keeping lawns mowed while they still grow and then turning to the leaves, which come down here in volumes the trees seem proud of. A fall cleanup done right is a transformation: one afternoon a yard is buried, by evening the grass is back, raked out and breathing before winter. The crew moves street to street as the color moves through town, always one pass behind the trees and one ahead of the frost. It is the busiest, most beautiful stretch of the year to be in this line of work.
