About GEN-D Services

October in Auburn arrives on the west wind, the soybean fields at the edge of town going gold and then bare, and the maples letting go a little more every night. GEN-D Services works right through that turning — mowing while the grass still asks for it, then trading blades for the long work of leaves. There is a satisfaction in a yard raked and cleared under an October dusk, the lawn suddenly visible again, dark green against the gray sky. Auburn's streets fill with the smell of that season, woodsmoke and cut grass together for a few good weeks. The job is to keep every yard on the route looking tended while the year winds down around it.
