About Nilson Logging LLC

Between Angola's lakes run a scatter of wooded ridges and narrow back roads that Nilson Logging LLC already knows well from hauling timber, and those same roads are what the crew plows first after a storm, since a fallen branch or a drift can close one just as easily as the other. Late afternoon light through bare trees is a familiar sight on these routes, the kind of hour when the temperature starts dropping fast and any wet snow left on a lane turns to ice by dark. Clearing a logging road or a rural driveway takes the same equipment and the same read of the land — where the ground dips, where the trees block the wind, where a plow blade needs to ride high over exposed roots. Closer to town, the work simplifies into ordinary residential drives, though the crew brings the same attention to a short suburban lane that it does to a mile of timber road. Nilson Logging LLC serves Angola and the wooded corners of Steuben County toward Orland and Ashley.
