About J.W. Services

The Steuben County Courthouse square sits at the center of Angola like a hub, and on a snowy midday J.W. Services can usually be found working the sidewalks around it, keeping the walk to the county offices and the shops facing the square clear for whoever needs to get there. A few blocks over, Trine University's streets bring their own steady foot traffic, and those walks get the same early attention so students and staff aren't picking through snow between buildings. From the square, the work spreads out into the surrounding residential blocks — modest driveways and short walks that make up most of Angola's in-town footprint. It's unglamorous work done in the coldest hours of the day, and the reward is simple: a square, a campus, and a neighborhood that all stay walkable no matter what's falling. J.W. Services covers Angola and reaches out to nearby Fremont, Hamilton, and Orland.
