Angola Animal Trapping

About Angola Animal Trapping

Out past Angola's edge, where Jimmerson Lake's marsh grass sticks up stiff and frozen through the first snow, Angola Animal Trapping knows the back roads as well as anyone in Steuben County — the same quiet lanes it works checking traps by day, it clears by plow after a storm. Those rural properties sit far enough from town that a snowed-in driveway can mean a full day lost, so getting a lane open before dawn matters as much here as anywhere. The work runs along wooded lot lines and lake-adjacent drives where drifting is worst, then tapers into shorter, simpler jobs on the paved streets closer to downtown. There's a particular quiet to this corner of the county in winter, marsh and woods gone still under snow, that makes a freshly cleared drive feel like the day's first real accomplishment. Angola Animal Trapping serves Angola and reaches into nearby Orland, Ashley, and Hamilton, covering the rural edges of Steuben County's lake country.
