About Professional Landscaping Services

Spring reaches Anderson from the ground up. By early April the bluffs above the White River at Mounds State Park are hazed with green, and in town the lawns wake patchy and matted from winter. That is where Professional Landscaping Services begins its year: raking out the dead thatch, clearing the winter's fallen sticks, and giving each yard its first clean cut of the season. From there the weeks settle into rotation — mow, trim, edge, blow off the walks — as the grass hits its full stride in May. The crew works the city's neighborhoods and the roads that run out toward the park, where the oldest ground in the county reminds you people have been tending this land a very long time. A well-kept lawn is a small entry in that long ledger, and it is one worth making carefully.
