Patriotic Stripes Lawncare

About Patriotic Stripes Lawncare

On summer Saturdays in Anderson you can sometimes catch the far-off hum of Anderson Speedway carrying across town, and on those same afternoons Patriotic Stripes Lawncare is out laying down stripes of its own. The work is mowing, but the finish is the thing: alternating bands of light and dark green rolled across a front yard until it looks ready for a holiday. Flags go up along porches here from Memorial Day through the Fourth, and a crisp lawn underneath them completes the picture. The crew trims tight around walks and porch steps, edges the drive, and hauls off what the mower leaves behind. It is neighborhood work in the plainest sense — one yard at a time, each one sent off looking its Sunday best.
