JC's Snow Removal

About JC's Snow Removal

Anderson wakes up along a bend of the White River, and on the coldest mornings JC's Snow Removal is out before the fog off the water has cleared, working driveways in neighborhoods that back up toward Mounds State Park, where the old earthwork rings hold snow in their curves longer than the flat ground around them. It's a town built on shift work — decades of factory hours trained people here to expect the roads clear before daylight, and that habit hasn't gone anywhere. The crew runs residential streets first, then swings toward the small commercial strips near downtown where business owners need the sidewalk out front clear before the first customer tries the door. There's real satisfaction in a driveway scraped to blacktop while the rest of the block is still under three inches, in knowing a plow run saved someone's morning without them ever having to think about it. JC's Snow Removal covers Anderson and reaches into Pendleton, Alexandria, and Elwood, following the White River's bends from one town to the next.
