Grasshopper Lawns and Landscaping

About Grasshopper Lawns and Landscaping

Walk the edge of any Anderson yard in July and the grass is alive — grasshoppers springing ahead of your boots, the whole lawn ticking with heat and insects. Grasshopper Lawns and Landscaping works down at that level, where turf is not a carpet but a living thing that needs cutting at the right height and trimming at the right time. The mowing rounds run all summer; the landscaping fills the shoulders of the year — mulch in spring, cleanup in fall. Central Indiana grows hard between the rains, and keeping up with it is the whole art. The routes cover Anderson, Frankton, and the small towns strung along the old interurban lines.
