Grass Roots Plus

About Grass Roots Plus

Out where Alexandria's streets give way to Madison County corn, summer evenings go gold, then blue, then full of fireflies. Grass Roots Plus does its best judging in that light — walking a finished lawn at day's end, checking the stripes, the trim around the mailbox post, the tidy seam where turf meets gravel. The name says where the work starts: at the roots, with mowing kept regular so the green holds through August's dry weeks. Yards here are generous — room for swing sets, gardens, a truck or two — and keeping them takes steadiness more than flash. Evening after evening, that steadiness shows.
