About Waterfalls and Landscaping Co.

By November, dusk comes to Woodstock before supper, porch lights blinking on early while a cold rain ticks through the gutters. It is the season of the final mowing, and Waterfalls and Landscaping Co. gives it the same attention as the first: grass cut to a sensible height for winter, edges trimmed one last time, the last of the fallen leaves raked away so nothing lies wet and heavy on the lawn for months. Rain settles on a yard like that the way water spills over stone, easy and unhurried, with nothing left to tangle. Beneath the coming cold, the roots rest. When the thaw arrives, the grass wakes up ready to grow.
