Tres Potrillos Landscapes

About Tres Potrillos Landscapes

West of Woodstock the farmland runs flat and pale to the horizon, and on a clear night after a storm the moon turns the whole county into something like a lake. Tres Potrillos Landscapes is out in that quiet at four in the morning, plow down, drive opened, walk shoveled and salted before the kitchen light comes on. Wind off those open fields will close a lane again inside an hour, so the route loops back. Cold work and honest work: the blade, the salt, the scrape of a shovel on a back step. What gets left behind is a family that can get in the car and go.
