About Langton Group

A storm gets measured differently on a commercial lot: not in inches, but in whether the doors open at eight. Langton Group plows to that clock, stacking and clearing parking areas along the Route 14 corridor and through Woodstock, keeping fire lanes open, salting entrances and sidewalks before the first shoe lands on them. The work is nocturnal and mostly unwitnessed, headlights swinging in slow rectangles across an empty lot. Then dawn, and the county goes about its business as though nothing had happened out there at all. That invisibility is exactly the result they are working toward.
