About Clarks's Lawn Care and Outdoor Services, LLC
Four in the morning in Wood River, and the streetlights along Ferguson Avenue are still doing all the work. That is the hour for the plow, when a driveway is only a rectangle of white and the people inside are asleep, and the whole aim is that they never once have to think about it: back out onto clean pavement, walk salted, the day handed over intact. Come summer the same route runs green, with mowing in even rows, trimming around posts and beds, and an edge along the sidewalk so crisp the concrete looks freshly poured. Clippings get blown off the drive instead of left to travel. Seasonal cleanups take the shoulders of the year, spring's scatter and autumn's long leaf-fall. Two kinds of weather, one town, one idea of a finished job.
