About Kleen Earth Snow & Ice Management Co.

Three in the morning in January, and Wood Dale is a grid of orange lamplight and falling snow — the Milwaukee District West tracks blanked out, the loading docks off Wood Dale Road drifted shut. Kleen Earth Snow & Ice Management Co. is already out in it, plowing lots and lanes, opening walks and entryways, spreading salt where the wind has polished pavement to glass. The reward is the moment nobody sees: a drive cleared before the first shift arrives, a stretch of concrete going dark and wet as the ice lets go. Flat land takes the wind hard out here, and a lot can turn white again by breakfast, so the work is watched rather than finished. Snow and ice work for commercial and residential properties in Wood Dale, Bensenville, Itasca, Addison and Elk Grove Village.
