Snow Systems Nationwide

About Snow Systems Nationwide

Midnight in Wheeling, green sliding in from the west across flat farmland turned suburb, and the trucks are staged before the first flake ever lands. Snow Systems Nationwide runs the winter as a plan instead of a scramble — routes assigned, salt loaded, drives and lots and walks taken in an order that has the whole list open by morning. Along Wolf Road and the streets that feed it, plowed pavement in the dark is what makes an ordinary Tuesday possible for everybody else. Storms out here keep their own schedule, sometimes three days apart and sometimes three hours. The work is meeting each one the same way, right through until the ground softens again.
