Schmidt Lawncare

About Schmidt Lawncare

A June evening along the Prairie Path, bicycles going by, sprinklers ticking somewhere behind a hedge — that is Wheaton at its greenest, and it is a standard that a lawn has to live up to. Schmidt Lawncare mows to keep that color, cutting on a consistent week so no single pass has to take too much, trimming clean around beds and posts, and edging the sidewalk into a line you could sight down. Clippings get cleared off the concrete rather than left to drift. In autumn the leaves get gathered and hauled, and the turf goes into the cold uncovered. Suburban yards are small stages, and a well-kept one shows from the corner.
