Ace Snow Removal

About Ace Snow Removal

Three in the morning, and the storm that came through overnight has left most of a foot on every drive in town. Ace Snow Removal is already in it — plow lights swinging across mailbox posts, the blade hunting the seam between snow and blacktop. The goal is plain: by the time the buses come through Wheaton and the first headlights start pointing toward work, the driveway is open and the walk is passable. Clearing a drive before dawn is a small thing that quietly decides how somebody's whole day goes. That is the reason for the early hour, and there is real pride in it.
