About Alvarez Industrial Cleaning Inc.

Out here the fields begin where the last row of houses ends, and there is nothing between Westville and a January wind but corn stubble. Snow doesn't so much fall on this stretch of Vermilion County as travel across it, packing hard against the north side of every building and filling in a driveway twice before sunrise. Alvarez Industrial Cleaning Inc. works those hours — plowing drives and lots back to pavement, pushing the piles where they won't blow straight back in, clearing walks, and treating the slick spots so the first person out the door has footing. Open prairie is a hard place to hold ground, which is exactly why holding it feels worth something. Come morning the lot is dark and wet and passable, and the day can start on time.
