Short's Lawn Care

About Short's Lawn Care

Late September mornings around Marion come in cool and heavy with dew, fog lying low over the fields until the sun finally gets a hand under it. The grass is slower now, deeper green, and a cut made in that light holds its shape for days. Short's Lawn Care mows through the tail of the season, trims the beds and posts back tight, and keeps the edges definite as the days get shorter. Then comes the clearing — leaves off the turf, corners blown out, the yard put down flat and open for winter. There is a particular pleasure in the last mow of the year, walking away from a lawn that looks finished.
