About Midwest GreenWorks
Winter arrives in West Frankfort in a heavier form than the rest of the state gets — wet snow, glaze, the kind of night when the oaks on the hills go silver and the roads go slick. Midwest GreenWorks handles it: plowing drives and lots, clearing walks and entries, and salting to break the ice a southern Illinois freeze leaves behind. Franklin County storms often start as rain, so timing is half the job — go too early and it all lands again, go too late and it sets like stone. A cleared drive here means the shift gets made and the day starts when it should, which is the whole reason for the early alarm. By mid-morning the sun works on what remains, and the pavement shows black from the garage door to the street.
