About Charlie & FM Tree Service & Landscaping

October in DuPage County is an unhurried collapse of color — the oaks out toward West DuPage Woods hold on the longest, and then one windy week they let go all at once. Charlie & FM Tree Service & Landscaping spends that stretch of the calendar with rakes and blowers going, pulling leaves off West Chicago lawns before they mat down and smother the grass under winter. The rest of the year is the steady rhythm of mowing, string trimming and keeping bed lines sharp where turf wants to creep. What the crew likes is the after: a yard raked down to bare green in slanted afternoon light, the driveway blown clean, the curb line visible again. It is ordinary work, and it is the difference between a house that looks lived in and one that looks looked after.
