2 AK Snow Management

About 2 AK Snow Management

West Chicago began as a rail junction, and the freight horns still roll across the grid at two in the morning, long after the last porch light goes out. That is the hour 2 AK Snow Management is already moving — plow down, headlights swinging through the falling flakes, working driveway to driveway while the town sleeps. Storms here arrive off open country to the west with nothing to slow them, so the work gets measured in passes: clear it, salt it, come back when the wind has filled the cut again. Walks get shoveled down to the concrete, and drives get opened wide enough that a car can swing out without a second thought. By the time the sky goes gray over the tracks, the street is a row of dark, clean aprons and nobody has to think about the storm at all.
