About Genesis Landscaping & Snow Plowing
Four in the morning on Army Trail Road, the northwest wind has been shoving snow across open ground all night and piling it wherever a fence or a hedgerow slows it down. Genesis Landscaping & Snow Plowing is out in it, pushing drives back to pavement, opening the walk to the front door, and laying salt so the second freeze cannot undo the first pass. Wayne's drifts are prairie drifts — they rebuild themselves behind you while you work, so a route gets run more than once before daylight. The satisfaction is a driveway dark and open before the sky has any color in it, and headlights backing out of it without a moment's hesitation. Wayne, Bartlett, and West Chicago sit on the plow route.
