About Monte Sion Landscaping LLC
Waukegan sits up on a bluff with the lake laid out below it, and on an October afternoon the light comes in sideways and turns every lawn on the high ground gold at the tips. Monte Sion Landscaping LLC works that upper shelf of the city, mowing and edging through the season and then taking the yards down cleanly for winter — leaves cleared, beds cut back and mulched, the turf left short and tidy. Grass near the water holds its color late, so the last cuts of the year are often the prettiest ones of the whole season. Doing them well feels less like closing up shop and more like setting the table for spring. It is steady, unglamorous care, and it is what makes a street look loved in November.
