About J V Landscaping Service

On an August evening downtown Waukegan turns a warm color, the Genesee Theatre marquee coming on while the brick blocks give back the day's heat. A few streets up from there the yards are cooling, sprinklers ticking, and the smell of a fresh cut still hanging in the air from the afternoon. J V Landscaping Service works those neighborhoods — weekly mowing, trimming along the fence lines and foundations, beds kept edged and mulched, and the long cleanups that bookend the growing year. The reward is a small one and it never gets old: a lawn that looks intentional from the sidewalk, corners tight, clippings blown off the drive so the concrete reads clean. Waukegan rewards that kind of attention, block by block, the way an old city does.
