About Jesse’s Landscaping & Planting Services

West of Waukegan the land lets go of the bluff and flattens into old prairie ground, and the soil beneath it is black and deep and generous once May finally warms it. Jesse's Landscaping & Planting Services works with that inheritance — mowing and trimming the lawns, and setting plants into beds where they will actually be happy, sun on one side of a house and shade on the other. A bed dug properly, mulched, and given room to grow into itself is the sort of thing a homeowner notices three summers later without knowing why. Cleanups open the season and close it, and in between the grass gets cut on a rhythm you can set a week by. Growing things in Lake County soil is honest work, and it shows from the curb.
