About Acosta and Sons Landscaping LLC

June mornings in Waukegan come in soft, and the grass at Powell Park holds its dew until nearly nine. That is the hour Acosta and Sons Landscaping LLC keeps — blades sharp, the first pass laid down straight, the smell of cut grass rising in a town still waking up. They mow, edge, trim and haul off what the season leaves behind, working yard by yard across the north-side blocks. There is a plain satisfaction in a clean line where turf meets sidewalk, and they chase it on every property. By the time the sun is high, the lawns behind them look combed.
