There is a week every November when Wauconda holds both seasons at once — mowers still running along the Route 12 corridor, first flurries testing the windshield on the way home. Yellowstone Landscape works both sides of that week: cutting, trimming and edging while the grass is still growing, then plowing, clearing walks and laying salt once the ground goes hard. Grounds around here run large, from lakeside lots to open commercial frontage out on the highway, and holding one standard across all that acreage is the craft. A property that reads the same in February as it does in July is the thing worth aiming at.
