About 808 Enterprises LLC

Watson is small enough that on a January night you can hear a plow working two roads over, and open enough that snow never stays where it falls — it travels, and piles against whatever stands still. 808 Enterprises LLC goes out into that: driveways and farm lanes opened, lots pushed back to the curb line, walks cleared, salt down on the ice that follows a thaw. The elevator light burns all night at the edge of the village and gives a driver something to steer by. By the time the buses roll toward Effingham the lanes are black and wide again. Winter in Effingham County comes down mostly to who is willing to be up first.
