About Nicky Mows LLC

On a June Saturday morning, Waterloo's brick downtown wakes slowly around the Monroe County Courthouse, while past the last streets the land rolls off into the sinkhole country above the Mississippi bluffs. Nicky Mows LLC says its business right in its name: mowing, for Waterloo lawns that early summer sends racing upward. Rain comes generously here in June, and grass that was fine on Wednesday can look unkempt by the weekend. A level, even cut with a trimmed edge along the sidewalk keeps a yard as orderly as the old storefronts on Main Street. The result is simple and satisfying: grass at one height, clippings off the walk, and the yard all set for an evening outdoors.
