Personalized Lawn Care

About Personalized Lawn Care

Valmeyer is a town that chose higher ground. After the Great Flood of 1993 swamped the old village on the Mississippi floodplain, residents rebuilt on the bluff top a couple of miles east and some four hundred feet higher. Personalized Lawn Care mows the yards of that new town, lawns that have grown deep and settled since the first houses went up. From the bluff edge the old bottomland spreads out toward the river, green with crops in high summer. Each yard is cut and trimmed to suit its own spot, whether it opens to the bluff breeze or sits tucked along a quiet street. There is something hopeful about tending grass in a town built on that much resolve.
