About Pride Outdoor Services

The first real snow usually arrives in November, when the sycamores at the edge of town have gone white-limbed and bare and the fields are stubble all the way out. Pride Outdoor Services meets it head-on — plowing drives and lots across Urbana, shoveling front walks, steps and mailbox approaches, and spreading salt where ice likes to take hold. That opening storm sets the tone for everything after it: equipment staged, routes in order, nobody left waiting on a Sunday. Seeing a whole street of cleared drives with your tire tracks running between them does not get old. By March the sycamores are still bare, and the routes are known by heart.
