About Have Pick-Up Will Travel (Hauling)

North of town the grain elevator stands over the rail line like a lighthouse for flat country, visible a couple of miles out on a clear cold morning. Have Pick-Up Will Travel (Hauling) works those distances — a truck, a blade, and a willingness to drive to the job: plowing drives and lots around Urbana, opening walkways, salting, and carting snow off a property when the piles have nowhere left to go. That last part starts to matter by February, when a winter's worth of pushed snow has quietly eaten the parking spaces at the far end of a lot. Hauling it out gives the pavement its full size back overnight. Pulling away at first light with an empty bed and a clear lot behind you is its own reward.
