White's Lawn Services

About White's Lawn Services

The Embarras winds its slow, timbered way past Toledo, and the shade it throws makes for lawns that grow in patches and moods. White's Lawn Services reads them for what they are: sun on the open side, thin cover under the big trees, cut heights set so both come out looking like one lawn. Around the courthouse square and out along the county roads the work is the same list done well — mowing, trimming tight to foundations and posts, edging until the walks show their own lines again, then clearing every bit of it off the concrete. Fall brings the whole river bottom's leaves into town, and those come off before they can smother the turf. A yard handed back crisp on a Cumberland County afternoon is a simple, decent thing.
