About E and Sons Landscaping and Maintenance inc. Snow Removal

At three in the morning the tollway lights are still burning on the bridges above the quarry, and the only other thing moving in Thornton is a plow. E and Sons Landscaping and Maintenance inc. Snow Removal takes the night shift — driveways and lots opened, walks cleared down to the pavement, salt laid where the ice wants to set. Storms come in two kinds here, wet and heavy off the water or dry and blowing across the fields, and each one gets pushed a little differently. The work is finished before headlights start filling the street, which is the whole idea: people leave for the day and never have to think about it. There is real pride in a lot that looks like the snow simply skipped over it.
