Moultrie County hands out two different jobs in a single year, and Coy's Lawn Services works both ends of it. Warm months mean mowing, trimming and edging on a steady rotation, with a thorough clear-out at either end of the growing season. Then the fields go to stubble, the wind gets a straight run at town, and the same trucks are out plowing drives, opening walks and salting where water stands and freezes. There is something in a January morning that starts at four and ends with a whole street able to get to work. When April comes the mowers come down off the wall and the year turns over again.
