About LKE Lawn & Landscape, LLC

A place named Sugar Loaf tells you what to look for: a rise standing above the surrounding ground, timber down its flank, farmland running out from the base of it. LKE Lawn & Landscape, LLC works both seasons there — mowing, trimming, edging and cleanups while things are growing, then plowing, clearing the walks and laying down salt once the ground goes hard. Higher ground holds snow longer and hands it back to the wind, so drives here want another look after a storm has technically ended. Fall is the long stretch: leaves come off the hillside timber for weeks rather than days. Every spring the slope greens from the bottom up, which is as good a signal as any that it is time to begin.
