About Tom's Creative Landscaping Inc
Sugar Grove still has farm fields at its edges, and when the January wind comes off them it can pack a driveway shut in an hour. Tom's Creative Landscaping Inc runs ahead of the daylight on those mornings — plowing drives, clearing walks down to the pavement, treating the ice that sets where the melt runs off. Kane County cold has its own clarity: black sky, blue snow, Blackberry Creek steaming a little where it runs open. Beating the first car out of the driveway is the measure of a good night. By sunrise over the subdivisions, the plow marks are the only sign anyone was there.
