About Hope's Landscaping Inc.

The town took its name from a grove of sugar maples, and in February those trees stand out in Bliss Woods like ink lines drawn across all that white. Hope's Landscaping Inc. works the winter side of Sugar Grove — clearing driveways down to the slab, opening a walkway to the front door, spreading de-icer on the steps and along the shaded stretch of sidewalk that never sees sun. A storm here can arrive as fat, quiet flakes or as a hard sideways scour off the prairie, and each one asks something different of the truck. What doesn't change is the finish: a drive squared off at the apron, a path wide enough for two people, a mailbox you can actually reach. Winter runs long in this county, and it goes easier when someone has already been by.
