About Collegiate Landscape, Inc.

Four in the morning in January, and most of Sugar Grove is still dark — but the lots have to be open before the first cars turn in. Collegiate Landscape, Inc. runs plows through the village while the streetlights are doing all the work, pushing driveways and parking areas back to pavement, then walking the sidewalks with de-icer so nobody's first step of the day is a guess. Out here snow doesn't just fall, it travels: wind crosses the open fields west of town and rebuilds a drift across an entrance twenty minutes after it's been cleared. So the route comes back around. By the time the sky goes gray over the college and the coffee is on, the curbs are visible again and the day can start on time.
