Perm-A-Green Lawns

About Perm-A-Green Lawns

When the creek skims over and the timber along it goes still and loud at the same time, winter has arrived for real. Perm-A-Green Lawns works the small hours then — blade down, driveways and lots taken to the pavement, walks opened, salt worked into the places where meltwater sneaks back and freezes. Out here the wind crosses open field ground before it ever reaches a house, which means drifts show up in the same three spots every storm, and those spots get remembered. There is something worth doing about a clear driveway at daybreak when everything past the mailbox is still under white. The cold gets its whole season; the route still gets run.
