About Santos Lawn and Landscaping

By late November the light over the forest preserves west of the village has gone thin and silver, the beds are brown, and every lawn in Stickney is asking to be put away properly. Santos Lawn and Landscaping does that closing work — the final cuts, the leaf hauling, the cutting back and clearing so nothing sits wet on the crowns all winter. Through the green months it is the usual steady round: mowing, trimming, edging, mulch, shrub shaping, walks blown clean. But there is something satisfying about the last visit of the year, a property squared away and quiet. Come spring it starts clean instead of starting behind.
