Fox River Landscaping and Snow Removal

About Fox River Landscaping and Snow Removal

At the Main Street dam the Fox never quite freezes; on a January night steam lifts off the open water while the rest of St. Charles goes white and silent. Fox River Landscaping and Snow Removal is awake in those hours — plowing driveways, opening lots, clearing walkways down to the surface and salting where the melt will refreeze by morning. Storms here come in bands, so the work is a return trip and then another until the last one blows through. Nothing quite matches the look of a drive cut clean and squared off at the apron while the streetlights still have the town to themselves. Snow removal, all winter, on both banks of the river.
